It’s so fine and yet so terrible to stand in front of a blank canvas.

About Artwork

The impulse to create is always with me. I gather inspiration for abstraction from a variety of places such as nature and fashion.

I utilize a variety of techniques to achieve different textures and paint layering in my work. I strive to achieve a multi-layered effect with subtle dimension. I experiment with fluid and soft body acrylics, inks and occasionally charcoal. I enjoy these spontaneous  mediums  that allow an intuitive process of painting. Learning to let go and allowing the paint to form it’s own shape is part of my process.
